Description from the seller
Vintage Malaysian Kelantan Silver Cruet & Condiment Set by Mohd Salleh & Sons (c. 1950s-1960s)
An exquisite mid-20th-century vintage silver condiment set, hand-crafted in the historic silver-smithing region of Kelantan, Malaysia. This beautiful 4-piece service set comprises a tray with leaf-shaped handles and three individual lidded/open vessels intended for spices, salt, pepper, or mustard.
The entire set features masterful hand-chased and embossed traditional Islamic/Malay floral patterns (awan larat). The undersides of the pieces bear the authentic maker's identification: the inventory/model number "1260 B" alongside the hand-stamped and hand-engraved regional signature "Kelantan" (كلنتن) written in Jawi script.
