Antieke verguld bronzen of messing wierookbrander / potpourri doosje - Incense burner - Brass

Antique gilded bronze or brass incense burner / potpourri box –

Beautiful and detailed antique openwork box or potpourri burner made of gilded bronze or brass. This extremely elegant object rests on a graceful curved foot and is equipped with a hinged lid with a fine closure. On top of the lid there is a refined figure of a seated lady.

The spherical housing is fully openwork with graceful scrolls, acanthus leaves and floral motifs. This makes the object extremely suitable as a potpourri holder, incense burner or as a decorative jewelry box.

The box is in correct antique condition with a beautiful age patina and greenish sheen typical of old bronze/brass. The hinge and the closure function properly.

A splendid Rococo "treasure" of its era in the display case, or an exceptionally graceful "eyecatcher in your salon de bain".
