Analogue telephone - Horn, Bakelite, Cotton, Metal - Wall phone mounted on a wooden backing plate with a crank

A classic antique wall telephone mounted on a wooden backboard with a crank (power generator for the bell).

The device features a prominently protruding speaking horn (microphone) at the front and two nickel/brass bells on the top.

On the hook on the left side hangs the original loose listening horn with wooden handle and cloth-covered cable.

The interior shows the original mechanical and electrical innards including the coils and the magnet generator with gear transmission.

Condition:
In original, vintage condition with clear signs of aging and use.
Wear to the paint/varnish on the wooden handle and the cabinet.
The electronics are untested and the cord shows some fraying at the connections.
Visually a very authentic and complete collector’s item.
