Steuler Industriewerke GmbH (Abteil. Kunstkeramik) - Theo Homrich - Vase (2) - Form 3878 (1948/1954) and 3879 (1954) - Ceramic, Earthenware, Glaze - Decor ‘Confetti’ (1955)

Set of modernist mid-century vases by Steuler (a floor vase 42 cm high and a vase 22 cm high), sgraffito-clinker vases in the decor ‘Confetti’ - a design by Theo Homrich (1922-2011, director of Steuler 1948-1982) from 1955: a geometric lattice in Ritz decoration with fields in colored glaze (of which the orange uranium glaze is one). The vases are marked at the bottom with the Steuler mark and the form numbers 3878 and 3879. Steuler launched two variants of this model, for 3878 one in 1948 and one in 1954 (reissued in 1960). The pieces are in excellent condition and are packed and shipped with great care.
