The box is original on the front signed in soft pencil by Joseph Beuys («Joseph Beuys»). Under appropriate lighting the typical silvery graphite sheen of the pencil lead on the cardboard is nicely visible (see detail photos).

The box contains 29 authentic and unused/undescribed postcards from the well-known Series of the Edition Staeck. Among them are Beuys’ absolute main works and icons:
