MODEL HISTORY
The fifth-generation Quattroporte (M139) debuted in 2003. The body was designed by Pininfarina under the direction of Ken Okuyama. The engine placed behind the front axle allowed proportions typical of a Gran Turismo: long hood, moved-back cabin, short rear. It is more a four-door GT than a classic limousine.
Early models had a automated DuoSelect transmission, which can be demanding in everyday driving and costly to maintain. From 2007, the Automatica version with a conventional ZF automatic was available. This car comes from a short period when ZF was still paired with the pre-facelift styling. In my opinion, this is the most sensible combination in this generation: the character of the early Quattroporte V without the DuoSelect compromise.
EXEMPLAR HISTORY
The car was first registered in Germany in March 2008. It was imported to Poland on a private order for the president of DESA Unicum, the largest Polish auction house, which held it for many years. Registered in Poland since January 2012.
Odometer readings from the CEP database:
2014 – 104,474 km
2018 – 130,193 km
2019 – 137,739 km
2021 – 142,642 km
2022 – 144,354 km
2023 – 145,433 km
2024 – 146,964 km
2025 – 148,406 km
2026 – 148,952 km
For most of its time in Poland, the car was serviced at the authorized Maserati Chodzeń workshop, with recent years at the Warsaw workshop Pit-Lane, which specializes in Italian brands and sports cars.
Recent work according to documents:
04/2023 (145,073 km) – diagnosis, oil and filter, air and cabin filters, new front suspension springs (old ones were cracked), front shock absorber bushings, trunk lid lock
06/2025 (148,135 km) – diagnosis, oil and filter, air and cabin filters
08/2025 (148,425 km) – replacement of a coolant hose (used part installed) and coolant
08/2026 (149,005 km) – oil change (Millers CFS) with filter
CONDITION
Bodywork: black paint in very good visual condition. Details visible in photos.
Interior: beige leather, well-kept, consistent with the mileage.
Mechanical: engine and transmission operate correctly; car is regularly used and serviced.
Suspension: front springs and bushings replaced in 2023.
KNOWN DEFECTS
One rear parking sensor not functioning. A new part has already been purchased and is included with the car.
I am not presenting this car as perfect. In my view, it is a well-documented Quattroporte in the most reasonable configuration, with mileage confirmed over the years.
SUMMARY
This is a proposition for someone who wants an Italian V8 in a sedan that can be driven normally, and understands that the Quattroporte requires regular, skilled maintenance. The classic ZF automatic and a transparent history are two things I would look at first in this model, and this example has both.
The car is located in Sowia Wola, near Warsaw. Viewing is possible after prior arrangement, and transport can be organized within Poland and Europe.
