Canon Viewfinders for the F-1
The Canon Booster T viewfinder is interchangeable with the standard viewfinder of the Canon F-1; it allows proper exposure thanks to its light meter even in very low light conditions. It is particularly effective for photomicrography, macrophotography and night photography.
Measuring elements: 2 CdS photodiodes
Low light (orange scale): center-weighted closed-aperture metering system
Bright light (white scale): open-aperture measurement over 12% of the surface
Meter sensitivity: 25 to 12800 ASA
Illumination of the measurement scale in the finder from 1/4 to 1/60 seconds
Illumination of the measurement scale powered on demand for exposures between 1/2 sec and 60 sec
Built-in timer for exposures from 1/2 sec to 60 sec
Power supply by 6V silver oxide battery
Eyepiece shutter
Accepts all viewfinder accessories compatible with the standard prism (angle finder, diopter correction)

The Speed Finder viewfinder is suitable for all types of shots, whether overhead views or reproduction work. This viewfinder is articulated by 180°, and can switch from eye-level viewing to a waist-level finder by a simple rotation of the rear part of the optical system.
The Speed Finder’s exit pupil is located 60 mm behind the eyepiece, allowing comfortable viewing in difficult conditions.
