Sculpture, Salmone - 35 cm - Salmon in brass on a Portoro black marble base – 1960s/1970s

Elegant vintage Italian decorative sculpture depicting a large brass salmon, modeled in a dynamic and sinuous pose.
The figure rests on a substantial Portoro marble base, characterized by an intensely black background traversed by elegant light and golden veins.
On the front is applied a medallion with a helmeted profile of Minerva, a classical decorative element.
Under the base the original label is still present.
Italy, circa the 1960s–1970s.
A very beautiful and scenographic object, with light signs of age visible in the photographs.
