Exceptional and rare vintage 1960s cocktail set, a splendid expression of Italian Mid-Century Modern design produced by the renowned Arir manufactory.
The complete set is distinguished by its characteristic textured "bark-like" finish on satinized aluminum.
Both the shaker and the ice bucket are clearly stamped on the bottom with the manufacturer's official mark "ARIR INALTERABILE" inside the hexagonal logo (the tray is unmarked, as is customary for the original production of this service).
Condition note:
The set is in vintage condition, nearly immaculate. It is completely free of dents, knocks, marks or scratches. The aluminum retains its original brilliant mirror-like shine; the item has been kept so well that it looks almost like a warehouse find never used.
An absolute rarity for pieces from this era.
The service comprises 4 coordinated pieces:
Shaker Cobbler: In the classic three-piece model. (Height 22.5 cm / Maximum Ø 9 cm)
Ice Bucket: With a flexible cord-woven handle. (Height 12.5 cm excluding handle / Ø 11.5 cm) including internal drain grid (original removable perforated insert).
Ice Tongs: Coordinated in satinized aluminum. (Length 16 cm)
