Group of estetica cerussite crystals with pink barite on galena, UV sensitive; weight 292 g; origin Mibladen, Aït Oufella Caïdat, Midelt Cercle, Midelt Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco.
Description from the seller
From our selection of collectible minerals we offer a splendid group of Cerussite crystals with Barite and Galena from Mibladen, Morocco.
Moreover, it features dense aggregations of Cerussite crystals with a pseudo-hexagonal habit, splendidly contrasted by the pink hues of Barite and the black, shiny matrix of Galena, with fluorescence reported under UV lamp, elements that enhance its aesthetic value and mineralogical significance.
The specimen stands out for the quality of crystallization and for its overall aesthetic balance, with characteristics that highlight its natural structure and visual impact.
Cerussite is a lead carbonate (PbCO3) that forms from the alteration of Galena in the oxidation zones of lead deposits, often resulting in characteristic geminated pseudo-hexagonal or star-shaped crystals. The Mibladen mining district in Morocco is today one of the world’s most renowned localities for collectible-quality Cerussite and Barite specimens, thanks to the intense lead mining activity that developed in the last century. The pink color of the associated Barite is due to traces of elements such as iron or manganese incorporated into the crystal lattice.
This is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, including in the context of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species.
All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, except for rare exceptions always indicated in the description. Photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight variations in shade may occur depending on the device or ambient light.
Shipping is carried out via reliable, carefully selected express couriers, with fast delivery (in many cases 1-2 business days within Europe), tracked and insured shipping and professional, safe packaging, as confirmed by customer reviews. Deliveries can also take place the day after payment depending on the destination.
It is possible to combine multiple purchases and receive them in a single shipment, even from auctions with different deadlines, simply by contacting us to organize the consolidation. For important pieces, direct home delivery by appointment or at leading European fairs is also available.
