Description from the seller
Christ as the Cross-Bearer – patinated zamak – France - circa 1900–1930
Professionally shipped – almost 1000 five-star reviews worldwide.
Statue of Christ carrying the cross on his shoulder, with bowed head and the crown of thorns on his forehead. His bent posture emphasizes the burden of the cross on the way to Golgotha. The folds of the garb and the detailed facial features give the scene a moving character. Executed with a dark patina, on a rectangular pedestal with a stepped rim.
Height 22 cm; in good overall condition with normal signs of aging and oxidation on the underside.
Please look closely at the photos, they are part of the description.
Shipped with track & trace.
