AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
From our selection of collectible minerals, we present a rare group of Amazzonite crystals with Quarz Fumé from Crystal Park, El Paso County, Colorado.
Furthermore, it is characterized by the color contrast between the prismatic Amazzonite crystals in the typical blue-green hue and the Quarz Fumé crystals in gray-brown, arranged on a matrix in a well-defined natural composition, elements that enhance its aesthetic value and mineralogical significance. The specimen stands out for the quality of crystallization and for the overall aesthetic balance, with features that emphasize its natural structure and visual impact.
Amazzonite is a variety of microcline (a potassium feldspar) whose characteristic blue-green color is attributed to the presence of small amounts of lead and the action of natural radiation on the crystal structure. Crystal Park, in El Paso County, Colorado, is one of the world’s most famous historic localities for the aesthetic combination of Amazzonite and Quarz Fumé, both linked to the pegmatites of the famous Pikes Peak granite. The smoky color of quartz is also due to natural irradiation phenomena that alter the mineral’s lattice structure.
This is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, including crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species.
All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, with very rare exceptions always noted in the description. The photos are taken with professional lighting to best highlight colors and details; however, slight tonal variations may occur depending on the device or ambient light.
Shipping is carried out via reliable and selected express couriers, with fast delivery (in many cases 1-2 working days in Europe), tracked and insured shipping and professional, secure packaging, as confirmed by customer reviews. Deliveries can also occur the day after payment depending on the destination.
It is possible to combine multiple purchases and receive them in a single shipment, even from auctions with different deadlines, simply contact us to arrange the aggregation. For important pieces, direct home delivery by appointment or at major European fairs is also available.
