Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Two wooden speculaas boards from the Netherlands, the longer dating to about 1850–1900 (64×15 cm) and the shorter dating to the late 18th/early 19th century (32×24 cm), both in good used condition with small signs of aging.
Description from the seller
The long plank is about 1850 +/- in age, the other end around the late 1700s/early 1800s.
Dimensions above are those of the long plank; the other plank is 32 by 24 cm.
We offer you: two speculaas boards, a longer board with three scenes, of which the top and bottom scenes are very special. They look almost like circus scenes, but we’re not sure. Judge for yourself from the photos.
The other board is a very early board; we think late 1700s/early 1800s. It has, of course, suffered from the teeth of time: the sides are crumbly, a thin, not distracting crack at the top. In terms of age, a very remarkable board. They’re so early you hardly ever see them.
We have taken good photos. These form part of the description of these boards.
We will pack them carefully.
We would very much appreciate your feedback.
