Description from the seller

Natural diamond 3.02 ct – Round Brilliant – G / I2 – extraordinary "Damascus steel"-like structure

For sale is a natural diamond with an impressive 3.02 ct in the classic round-brilliant cut. With its measurements of 8.96 × 8.91 × 5.90 mm, it possesses an excellent, harmonious, and very attractive shape.

This diamond impresses above all with its extraordinary optics and its unmistakable character. The proportions and the cut are very well executed; the symmetry is rated Very Good, as is the polish. Overall there is no reason to complain about the execution of the cut – the stone is very cleanly and precisely faceted and already responds to the slightest changes in light incidence with an intense sparkle.

Particularly fascinating is the natural internal structure of the diamond. The small internal inclusions present are arranged in a remarkably interesting way and visually resemble the grain of Damascus steel. Exactly this structure gives the stone its special depth and individuality.

The clarity I2 should not be regarded solely as a disadvantage for this diamond. On the contrary: the natural inclusions contribute significantly to its extraordinary color effect and its distinctive appearance. They create this characteristic, almost metallic-looking "Damascus steel" effect that clearly sets the stone apart from ordinary, visually uniform diamonds.

Important: The inclusions are located inside the stone and do not affect its stability or strength. They are part of the natural internal structure of the diamond and not a conspicuous superficial fracture or damage.

The external surface is also exceptionally clean. In the numerous attached close-up photos, there are no obvious chips, cracks, or other surface defects discernible. The buyer can verify the stone’s extraordinary well-groomed exterior appearance for themselves from the photos.

The G color grade yields a very beautiful, bright, and attractive color effect. Together with the unusual internal structure, it forms a highly characteristic diamond that comes alive with movement and sparks intensely with even the smallest amount of light.
