This extraordinary tourmaline-quartz sphere from Brazil is a fascinating natural unique piece with a particularly varied internal structure.
In the light, partially transparent to milky quartz matrix, numerous greenish-dark mineral inclusions are distributed, giving the sphere its unmistakable character.
Especially impressive is the interplay of clear and cloudy quartz, warm golden-yellow to earthy areas, and the contrasting green inclusions.
Inside, natural fracture structures, fine lines, and varying transparency zones appear, so when rotating the sphere, new details repeatedly become visible.
The high-gloss polished surface excellently showcases the depth and multi-layered nature of the material.
With a weight of about 3 kg, the sphere also possesses an imposing presence and is ideal as an exclusive collectible or extraordinary decorative object.
