Britannia Airways Limited was a British airline with its home base in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1961 as Euravia (London) Limited and became the world’s largest holiday airline. Britannia’s main bases were London, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, Cardiff, Bristol, East Midlands, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds/Bradford, Liverpool and Glasgow. The headquarters were located in Britannia House in Luton. [1]
