Takashi Murakami - Pan (2) - Metal

This auction features a delightful set of two Takashi Murakami sunflower-themed frying pans, originally released as a special bonus gift with the Japanese magazine *Smart*. This set is perfect for fans and collectors of Murakami’s iconic Pop Art creations.

Each pan is crafted from lightweight aluminum and features a non-stick coating. The base is embossed with Murakami’s world-renowned "Smiling Sunflower" motif; when batter is poured in, it creates an adorable flower-shaped pancake featuring the classic Murakami smiley face at its center.

The set includes two distinct pans:

- The first features a black handle decorated with a repeating white Murakami flower pattern.
- The second features a bright yellow handle adorned with colorful rainbow sunflower motifs.

The handles are securely attached with metal rivets and include a small hole at the end for convenient hanging storage. They are suitable for use on gas stovetops.

These pans are brand new, unused, and in excellent condition. Originally limited-edition magazine supplements rather than standard retail items, they serve as both practical kitchenware and playful Pop Art collectibles. They are ideal for home baking, display in a collection, or as a unique gift for a Takashi Murakami fan.
