Description from the seller

Italian Vintage Vanity from the 1950s with Mirror and Decorated Glass Top

Elegant Italian mid-century modern vanity, dating from the 1950s, characterized by a slender structure and refined mid-century taste lines. The piece features a wide vertical mirror with a distinctive upper shaping, a slightly wavy profile and rounded corners, which confer elegance and lightness to the entire composition. The lower part is made of veneered wood in warm brown tones, with decorative grains clearly visible and a glossy finish. The top is embellished with a light-toned glass surface, decorated with a refined diamond-shaped geometric pattern and thin perimeter lines. At the front there are two practical drawers with shaped metal handles, ideal for storing small objects and personal accessories. The structure rests on tapered, angled legs, connected below by an elegant shaped base with geometric wood detailing. The harmonious proportions, decorative details, and the contrast between the wooden surfaces and the glass give the piece a sophisticated and distinctive aesthetics. It shows light signs of age and use, especially on the surface of the mirror and on some details of the structure. A striking furnishing accessory, ideal for bedrooms, walk-in closets, or refined interiors, also perfect as a decorative element in contemporary interiors.
