Description from the seller
- Found: 1863
This extraordinary Moldavite specimen from the Czech Republic captivates with its intense olive to moss-green coloration and the characteristic, heavily etched surface. The natural drop-like structure with its sculptural texture makes light dance in fine waves and melts, underscoring the glassy origin of this tektite. It is particularly impressive in backlight, where its transparency glows in vibrant green and its extraterrestrial origin becomes visually tangible.
Moldavite, formed when a meteorite struck about 15 million years ago, is considered a carrier of transformative energy. It is said to support deep-seated change processes and to facilitate access to higher consciousness. This specimen impressively combines cosmic history with aesthetic clarity – a fascinating piece of nature and energy.
