Description from the seller
Iconic art print after Friedensreich Hundertwasser – “The Eye and the Beard of God”
Offered is a high-quality, vividly colored art print with foil stamping based on a characteristic work by Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
Friedensreich Hundertwasser is one of the best-known artists of the 20th century and developed a globally unmistakable visual language of organic forms, spiral structures, and luminous colors. His works possess an exceptionally high recognizability and enjoy solid demand in the international art market.
The motif “The Eye and the Beard of God” belongs to the particularly expressive compositions of his oeuvre. The combination of spiral elements, symbolic forms, and intense colorfulness exemplifies Hundertwasser’s artistic philosophy, which connects nature, spirituality, and individuality.
It is precisely these iconic image ideas that are in high demand, as they vividly reflect his rejection of straight lines and his turn toward the “organic form.”
The present art print clearly stands apart from simple posters: the additional foil stamping gives the work a special surface effect and provides increased visual depth and value.
The format of approx. 59.5 × 42 cm offers an ideal balance between presence and versatility and is excellent as a statement piece – for both modern art collectors and design-oriented interiors.
Printed and published by Kunstverlag (ca. 1980–1990), sourced directly from the publisher’s stock and since then professionally stored in a light-protected environment.
An iconic motif of one of the most important representatives of modern art with high recognizability.

Seller's Story
We have been operating several online shops in the art trade for over 20 years. On the one hand, we specialize in rare art prints, exhibition posters and collectible reproductions, and on the other hand, we trade in art editions and originals by well-known contemporary artists.
The works we offer all come from the respective publishers, art galleries and institutions such as museums that published them in close cooperation with the artists. The works you find with us are often several decades old, in perfect or good condition and without a previous private owner.
We place particular emphasis on professional packaging. Nothing is more annoying than purchasing a rare print that arrives damaged due to poor or inadequate packaging.
If you have any questions about the works on offer, we are always happy to help you!
