AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Antique Italian sideboard dating to the second half of the 19th century, circa 1850–1880.
Crafted in solid wood with a warm, dark brown finish and attractive natural grain. The piece features a rectangular overhanging top, two upper drawers with decorative antique brass-tone handles, and two lower cupboard doors with raised moulded panels and distinctive circular wooden bosses. The interior provides practical storage with a shelf, while the doors and drawers retain their traditional metal hardware. The cabinet still can be locked after it was repaired. The sideboard stands on turned bun feet, back wood blocks, and has moulded cornices and a sturdy plinth base, reflecting traditional Italian provincial furniture craftsmanship.

The internal paper cover is still in good condition although there are some marks remained due to age and use.

The piece displays an authentic aged patina, with visible wear, scratches and signs of use consistent with its age. A characterful antique suitable for a traditional or rustic interior.

Presented of moth holes, mainly on the back,(seen on photos).
