Description from the seller

Vintage set of 12 silver-plated teaspoons by SFAM (France), Russian pattern, in original jeweler's box
Description:
For sale is a superb set of 12 mocha/coffee/dessert spoons, crafted in France by the renowned silversmithing house SFAM (Société Française d'Alliage de Métaux) and dating back to the first half of the 20th century (interwar period).
The pieces feature the elegant Russian style (*manche à la russe*), with fluted, finely engraved cylindrical handles and ornate, relief-decorated ends.
Technical details and hallmarks:
Manufacturer: SFAM (France).
Material authenticity mark: Bears the official "METAL ALLIAGES BLANC" stamp (indicating a durable white metal base coated with a uniform layer of pure silver).
Quality mark: The official "2G" stamp accompanied by the distinctive SFAM factory emblem (the clasped hands symbol).
Luxury presentation: The set comes in its original vintage box, featuring a brown leatherette exterior with gold accents and a golden-yellow satin-silk interior lining. The lid retains the original silk label from the historic shop where it was purchased: "D. Bariot - Horloger-Joaillier - SAINTES".
Condition:
The set is complete (12 pieces) and in excellent condition for its age, showing no signs of severe wear or deep scratches. The silver features a superb natural patina that highlights the details of the engraving. The box is also original and functional, with its locking mechanism intact.
An ideal set for collectors, antique enthusiasts, or as a distinctive gift with a French bohemian flair.
