Description from the seller
Albainox – Elegant folding knife in olive wood and mirror-polished stainless steel – Decorative filework – 19 cm
Category: Collectible knives – Folding knives – Spanish knife making
Description
Splendid and elegant folding knife from the Spanish house Albainox, a particularly refined model that stands out for the sophistication of its craftsmanship, the harmony of proportions, and the extraordinary brilliance of the metal finishing.
A knife with classic charm, capable of marrying knife-making tradition with an aesthetic that is refined and highly impactful.
The protagonist is the magnificent handle in authentic olive wood, characterized by a smooth and elegant surface. The deep brown color of the wood creates a splendid contrast with the metal parts in stainless steel, fully mirror-polished.
The blade, 8 cm long, is made of stainless steel with a beautiful mirror-polished finish. Its classic and balanced line integrates perfectly with the elegance of the handle.
A particularly valuable detail: the filework
One of the most fascinating elements of this knife is the refined ornamental workmanship on the back, known as filework.
The metal structure features a sequence of engravings and carefully crafted decorations, creating a suggestive play of light and shadow along the back of the handle.
This workmanship, inspired by the decorative techniques of artisanal cutlery, gives the knife a distinctive character, making it particularly interesting for lovers of elegant and refined blades.
