Description from the seller

Set of 10 mouth-blown crystal tumbler glasses for alcoholic drinks Cocktail and Long Drink: The cylindrical shape and high capacity make them perfect for serving long cocktails (such as Gin Tonic, Cuba Libre, Mojito or Americano) with a height of 9 cm and a diameter of 6.2 cm. They feature a vertical ribbed facet work (pleated or optic ribbing) running along the entire body and a top rim finished with a thin brush of gold pressed/gilded. The bottom is thick and linear. Dateable roughly to the mid-20th century (circa 1950–1970), a period in which Mid-Century Modern and Neoclassical styles made crystal tableware with facet/ribbed work and gold finishes very popular. Conditions and workmanship: The gilding shows slight irregularities and wear nuances typical of artisanal/manual production and the passage of time, confirming probable vintage dating (mid-20th century). Shows the bottom of the glass, revealing the acid-etched factory mark. Producer: Nason Moretti (founded in Murano as Nason & Moretti). The registered logo, clearly legible, consists of the N monogram (or the stylized double N/M enclosed in a square) with the inscription underneath "MURANO". Nason Moretti is one of the island of Murano’s most important historic glassworks, famous precisely for producing stemware, glasses and high-art dinner services. The punch or acid-etching on the bottom is the typical factory signature used by the furnace for its high-end tableware in the postwar and vintage period. Condition: interrupted.
