Rinnovel aluminium magazine stand designed by Ettore Sottsass from the 1970s, with a gold anodised finish and a distinctive trapezoidal shape, measuring 49 cm W x 34 cm H x 35 cm D in good used condition with minor signs of wear.
Description from the seller
Vintage magazine stand / newspaper holder – 1970s gold – Hollywood Regency / Rinnovel Style designer attributed to Ettore Sottsass
An elegant and very lightweight vintage magazine stand from the 1970s.
It features a distinctive geometric trapezoid shape and a noble gold appearance.
Thanks to the use of era-typical anodized aluminum, the piece is pleasantly light.
With its characteristic decorative balls at the ends, it perfectly embodies the luxurious Hollywood Regency and Mid-Century Modern style of that era.
Function:
Due to the wide, curved tray, the piece is excellent as a decorative, generous stand for magazines or journals, or also as a stylish holder for your favorite records.
Condition & Details:
• Condition: Good, sturdy vintage condition with signs of age and charming patina (see detail pictures).
Two of the feet lack the small end caps at the bottom. This is hardly noticeable in daily use and does not affect function, but is explicitly mentioned here for fairness.
• Era: 1970s
• Material: Aluminum (anodized / gold-colored)
• Style: Hollywood Regency / Mid-Century Modern / Italian design
It will be carefully prepared and packed for shipping.
