Description from the seller

Pair of large antique vases – Model No. 15088 – circa 1920

Magnificent pair of antique earthenware vases glazed in polychrome, made by the Amphora factory in Czechoslovakia, probably around 1920–1930.

The two vases bear the model number 15088 as well as the original mark “Amphora – Made in Czecho-Slovakia.”

They feature a remarkable relief decoration of ducks in full flight, surrounded by stylized flowers and foliage. The polychrome enamels offer stunning colors: golden yellow, cobalt blue, turquoise, green, pink and mauve.

Model No. 15088 is documented in several auction catalogs, notably on Auctionet (HannoVerum) and at Boisgirard-Antonini in 2017.

The condition of these two matching vases represents a genuine decorative and collectible interest.
