AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Beautiful piece of Danish audio history: the Bang & Olufsen Beocenter 1400, designed by the legendary Jacob Jensen and produced between 1973 and 1975.
The Beocenter 1400 combines a high-quality FM/AM receiver with an integrated cassette recorder, wrapped in a classic 1970s real wood cabinet with a brushed aluminum control panel. It offers authentic mid-century Scandinavian styling along with the rich, warm analogue sound characteristic of B&O’s classic era.
Technical Condition:
Fully operational. The receiver sections (FM/AM) play cleanly across both channels. The cassette deck controls function, play/rewind work, and the VU meters illuminate and register audio signal.
Cosmetic Condition:
Good vintage condition with minor signs of age and wear. The real wood cabinet is well-preserved small crack on the other side, and the aluminum top panel shows light surface marks consistent with careful use. Please examine the photographs closely as they form part of the item description.
