Operation & illumination:
Mickey Mouse's eyes serve as the illuminated frequency scale. The nose functions as an on/off switch as well as a volume control.
The ears, or the sides, adjust the tuning and the wave band.

Power supply:
6V DC (optional via 4 batteries of 1.5 V each or via an external power supply).
The present radio is equipped with 4 batteries and does not come with a power supply.
