Two-volume limited Taschen edition of Friedensreich Hundertwasser, hardback, 1474 pages, 24 × 20 cm, in English, with a colour print and a clamshell box, numbered 00095 of 10000 and signed, in very good condition.
Description from the seller
Unique about this Hundertwasser edition is the exceptionally low number: 00095 of 10,000 copies published by Taschen.
This signed edition consists of 2 books, a beautiful little artwork in the form of a colorful print and a clamshell storage box.
Everything is in very good condition.
One Velcro strap is loose, but that is very common.
This monumental, two-part edition is a record of the life’s work of the versatile artist, designer, writer, ecologist and innovator Friedensreich Hundertwasser. The work was designed and assembled by the artist himself according to his meticulous cataloging system; with nearly 1,500 pages and 2,000 images it documents his complete oeuvre exactly as he envisioned it – down to the details, such as the pages with black borders and the colored velvet cover.
Limited art edition of 10,000 copies, including one of the five color proofs, numbered and bearing the stamp of Hundertwasser’s estate.
The last 14 photos are the original photos, the remaining photos come from the internet to give you a broader insight into the book.
