Description from the seller
Exclusive lot of 3 pieces in Wedgwood Jasperware - 20th century, made in the United Kingdom around 1950.
Superb set of Jasperware pieces from the famous English manufacturer Wedgwood. Jasperware is the brand’s iconic product, characterized by its matte “biscuit” finish and delicate relief white cameos with neoclassical and mythological inspiration.
The lot includes:
- A sage green pitcher adorned with geometric friezes and antique scenes depicting draped figures. Stamped "Wedgwook" and "Made in England" recessed under the base.
- An elongated ochre and blue creamer, a rarer and very elegant colorway, decorated with blue mythological figures on a terracotta background. Stamped "Wedgwood" under the base.
- A small rectangular sage green cachepot or pencil pot decorated with charming figures (woman and cherub) in relief.
Very good overall vintage condition except for a chip on the last item, see photos which are part of the description. The reliefs are crisp and complete.
