Beautiful large vintage French copper stockpot with matching lid, featuring a polished copper exterior, a silver-coloured lined interior and traditional dark metal handles.
The pot has a classic cylindrical shape, with two sturdy riveted side handles and a matching copper lid with a metal handle. Its generous size makes it an attractive piece of traditional French cookware, suitable for a kitchen collection or decorative display.
The underside bears the "Fabrication Française" stamp with the outline of France, confirming its French origin.
The pot measures approximately 30 cm in diameter and 14 cm in height, excluding the lid. It weighs approximately 1.9 kg.
It is in good vintage condition, with signs of previous use. The copper exterior shows some scratches, marks and areas of patina, while the interior has light surface scratches and cooking marks. The underside also shows signs of use. These are consistent with the age and history of the piece.
A lovely example of traditional French copper cookware, combining practical construction with the timeless charm of copper.
