BRONZE SCULPTURE ART DECO OF A BALLERINA

Fascinating Art Deco sculpture depicting a full-length ballerina captured in a moment of exuberant grace. perfect balance, with the head tilted back and the gaze directed upward. Her arms are extended outward in a wide ascending arc.
The dancer wears a detailed costume with a bodice decorated with palm motifs and shells, and a long and flowing skirt that gathers into ruffles around the feet. Her bobbed, wavy hairstyle is typical of the 1920s. The sculpture captures a sense of movement and fluidity characteristic of the Art Deco style.
Bronze with a dark patina finish.
Mounted on a cubical base in cream-veined marble.
Condition: The sculpture appears in good overall condition, with an even patina well preserved. There are slight signs of wear on the bronze surface and on the marble base, consistent with age.
