Keith Haring - Keith Haring Stedelijk Museum 86 - 1986

A highly sought-after and essential edition by Keith Haring, published to mark his solo exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, in 1986. This copy is one of those gifted by the artist and publisher, featuring original and unique drawings by Haring himself, made in black marker on the double-page title spread.
On the left-hand page, small devil’s horns and a little angel’s halo have been added to the heads of the photographic ‘double self-portrait’ of Keith Haring as a child. On the right-hand page, two drawings of anthropomorphic figures (one of which appears to be a vampire) have been incorporated into the title, with a signature and date just below.
Included is a small card bearing the inscription ‘Hommage de l’auteur et de l’éditeur’ – initialled ‘W.B.’ on the reverse [Wim Beeren?]
Signs of wear on the right side corners of the cover, but overall in very good condition and intact.
