Description from the seller
Yamaha KX-300 top-class cassette deck
Made in Japan
The Yamaha KX-300 is a reliable and highly regarded 2-head single cassette deck that Yamaha produced between 1988 and 1990. The model is known for its excellent playback quality, partly thanks to the innovative Play Trim feature.
Some of the many options: Dolby B, C, MPX filter, Automatic tape selection, Intro scan, Play trim and an Adjustable bias.
Special Features:
• Play Trim (±3.5dB to ±10dB): This is the most lauded feature of this deck. It allows you to correct high frequencies before the Dolby circuit. This solves the well-known problem of dull-sounding cassettes recorded on other recorders.
• Bias Adjust: This lets you manually fine-tune the bias during recordings to find the optimal balance for specific brands of tapes.
• Intro Scan & Repeat: Automatically play the first seconds of each track or repeat specific fragments.
Fast forward and rewind operate smoothly, quickly, and quietly; the deck is in very nice condition.
The heads have been cleaned and demagnetized.
Recordings made with a good tape are of high quality and hardly distinguishable from the source.
Visually in very good condition, with only minuscule signs of use.
Nice, clear and scratch-free display.
Please view the detailed photos; they are part of the item description (the pictured cassette tape is not included in the sale).
The cassette deck is professionally packaged with the utmost care and shipped insured with track & trace.
