Lot Pentax MX (Silver) + SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/1.7 + Original case & French manual + National PE-300 flash
Superb Pentax MX 35mm film SLR body in chrome/silver and black finish. Known as one of the most compact and reliable mechanical 35mm bodies ever built, it is accompanied by its standard 50mm lens, its original leather carrying case, and its user manual printed in French.
The SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/1.7 lens is one of the best standard lenses ever produced by the brand for its film SLRs. It is an absolutely essential choice to accompany a body like the Pentax ME.
Body: Very good overall visual condition (see photos). The chrome is clean and the black coating is well preserved.
Case: Patina of wear from age, protecting the camera perfectly.
Shutter release: The advance mechanism is smooth. The shutter fires correctly after each lever cocking.
Test: The camera has not been tested recently with film nor with batteries for the light meter. It is sold as is, ideal for a collector, a mechanical enthusiast, or for a service/overhaul.
