AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Cinepresa Super 8 420Z – Custom Design Opera Unica "Japan Martial Arts & Cinema 1970s" with a coating in technical material.
We propose at auction a unique piece that merges the allure of analog cinema in Super 8 format with a conceptual and artistic reinterpretation of aesthetics.
The camera, the Super 8 420Z model (produced in the 1970s), has been the subject of careful study aimed at celebrating the golden era of technological innovation and the Japanese pop lifestyle of its production period.
Concept and Design: the graphic pattern applied to the side panels was selected from several options to best represent the cultural phenomena of 1970s Japan: the explosion of martial arts films, the pop culture of manga/anime, traditional dragons, vintage cinema details, and the iconography of the Rising Sun.
Innovative technical material: the finish has been created by replacing or integrating the original surfaces with an innovative high-strength technical material. This new coating offers: resistance to oily substances, liquids, and wear over time. Durable protection to ensure both practical use and display as a collectible piece.
Technical features:
Model: Super 8 420Z
Format: Super 8 film (standard loader)
Lens: Integrated zoom with focus ring
Grip: ergonomically shaped with non-slip coating
Aesthetic condition: excellent (customization executed to a high standard, flawless finishes).
Mechanical/Operational condition: simple and functional mechanics, ready to be used or exhibited as a unique design piece. Light meter and zoom not tested with batteries.
