A complete 36‑piece collection of 1:43 scale die‑cast model cars from the En Voiture Tintin series by Moulinsart Atlas, each in a Plexiglass display case inside a blue box with a paper diorama and hand‑painted Tintin, Milou, Captain Haddock and other characters, in very good condition with original packaging.
Description from the seller
a vast collection of model cars from the series "En voiture Tintin" (In macchina, Tintin!), a complete work produced by Editions Atlas between 2001 and 2006.
Here is a detailed description of the various aspects of this collection:
1. Physical Characteristics and Scale
Scale: All models are in 1:43 scale, the standard size for vintage car collecting.
Materials: The bodies are made of die-cast metal with plastic detailing and swiveling wheels.
Presentation: Each model is enclosed in a rigid plexiglass case, housed in a distinctive blue box. At the bottom of almost every case there is a paper diorama faithfully reproducing a scene from Hergé's original comics.
Miniatures: Inside the vehicles there are hand-painted figurines of Tintin, Snowy, Captain Haddock, the Dupont and Dupond, and other famous characters.
Precision: Hergé was known for his realism; the cars in the comics (and thus these models) are faithful reproductions of real vehicles of the era, such as the Citroën 2CV, the Ford Model T, the Lincoln Torpedo, or the Willys Jeep.
