Pluto Trigger is an intelligent high‑speed wireless remote trigger for DSLR and mirrorless cameras, brand Pluto, model Pluto Trigger, in near-new condition and tested working, includes Sony and Canon cables and a laser for water‑drop photography, controllable via the dedicated iOS/Android app.
Description from the seller
The Pluto Trigger is an intelligent high-speed remote trigger device for DSLR and mirrorless cameras, controllable wirelessly via a smartphone. This small accessory connects to the camera via cable and interfaces via Bluetooth Low Energy with a dedicated app for iOS and Android.
Complete with cables for SONY and CANON
Laser included “Pluto Valve,” a tool specific for water drop photography that synchronizes the fall of water drops with the flash to create perfect collisions and photographed water sculptures.
24 Modes of use:
1. Shutter Release (Single Shot): Works as a classic wireless remote to trigger the shot (includes single-shot, focusing, continuous press, Bulb, and burst shooting options).
2. Timelapse: Allows programming sequences of shots by setting interval, total duration, and initial delay.
3. Bulb Ramping: Designed for day-to-night (or vice versa) timelapses, gradually varying exposure times to compensate for changing light.
4. HDR (High Dynamic Range): Captures a series of shots (up to 19 images) with different exposures to blend shadows and highlights.
5. Startrail (Star Trails): Take multiple long-exposure images in a continuous sequence to create the motion trail of the stars while avoiding sensor thermal noise.
6. Video: Start and stop video recording on the camera, ideal for exceeding some cameras’ continuous shooting time limits.
7. Timer: A simple countdown timer to schedule a shot at a precise moment.
2. Pluto Device Sensors
These modes leverage the Pluto Trigger’s internal hardware and sensors physically present on the device.
8. Laser: Activates the camera when an object or animal interrupts the laser beam (pointer included in the package).
9. Sound: Triggers instantly when it detects a loud sound (e.g., a balloon popping or a glass breaking).
10. Light: Triggers based on sudden changes in ambient light.
11. Lightning: An ultra-fast mode specifically tuned to detect lightning flashes during storms.
12. PIR (Passive Infrared): Detects body heat and movement of people or animals, turning the camera into a wildlife/scene trigger.
13. Droplet: Interfaces the trigger with the Pluto Valve accessory to synchronize and photograph the millimetric collision of water drops.
14. Aux (Auxiliary): Allows connecting third-party custom sensors via the jack to extend shooting capabilities.
15. Fusion: Enables combining multiple hardware sensors simultaneously (e.g., it shoots only if there is both a sound and a light change).
3. Smartphone Sensors
These modes leverage the hardware of the phone on which the app is installed.
16. Vibrate: Takes a photo when the smartphone detects a vibration or strong jolt.
17. Motion: Uses the phone’s camera to detect movements in the frame and trigger the main DSLR.
18. Distance: Uses the phone’s GPS to take a photo each time you move a pre-set distance (e.g., every 10 meters, useful for hyperlapse).
19. Voice: Triggers the shutter via voice commands or speech detection.
20. Smile: Detects when subjects smile in front of the phone to send the trigger impulse to the camera.
