AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Magnificent ancient brass candlestick, solid cast bronze, crafted with an elaborate ornamental repertoire typical of European metalwork from the late 19th or early 20th century. It features a richly repoussé mural disc, vegetal motifs in relief, Rocaille typical of the Style and period, all executed with exceptional depth and definition.
The arm and the candle holder show a sinuous morphology, with volutes, stylized leaves and sculptural details that reinforce its decorative character. The bronze preserves a warm, stable patina, an unmistakable sign of authenticity and age, very well detailed and contrasted. Excellent depth of pattern.
Ideal piece for classic interiors, collectors of historical lighting or decoration projects requiring a bold visual presence.
