A beautiful, large, and heavy antique brass church candlestick in Neorenaissance / Eclectic style. This impressive centerpiece is in a splendid, original, and unpolished condition with an authentic patina of age. Special features:
• Base: A stately triangular base resting on three detailed lion-paw feet.
• Unique detail: The triangular base features on each side a different, unique relief image: two different detailed portraits of saints with halos (apostles) and one side with a classical vase of flowers.
• Shaft: Elegantly fluted (vertical grooves) with classical profiling and knobs.
• Top: Equipped with a classic candle holder with a broad, upstanding decorative dish (drip tray).
Condition: Authentic, unpolished, very solid and heavy construction.
