Car part - Tachograaf Siemens VDO/Kienzle type 1318.27 - Analoge Tachograaf

The lot concerns a Vintage Original Analog Tachograph from the brand Siemens VDO / Kienzle, type 1318.27.. Siemens VDO Automotive AG (Villingen-Schwenningen) Germany. The tachograph is mounted in an original blue metal test or table stand. This was often used in workshops, test setups, or driving schools to calibrate the tachograph, demonstrate it, for maintenance and repair, and to be able to calibrate the device. A combination of a tachograph in such a stand is quite rare to find.
The tachograph contains a speedometer, odometer, and a recording device for the driver’s driving and rest times on a print/diagram disk. The tachograph was used in trucks, buses, etc. (this tachograph contains no diagram disks). The equipment is fairly valuable. The operation has not been tested. The dimensions including the stand are: height 27 cm, width, depth 20 cm, with a weight of 3.5 kg.
The tachograph is in good used condition. The metal, tiltable stand shows clear signs of use/wear but works fine and is very stable. Please also see the various attached photos that form part of the description.
