The mark usually refers to Tressemanes & Vogt (T&V), one of the most prestigious manufactories of Limoges, France, active from the late 19th century to the early 20th century (often associated with the mark "T.L." or "T.V.").
Their coffee services are renowned for the finest porcelain, nearly translucent, and for the hand-painted floral or gold-encrusted decorations, highly sought after by collectors for the Art Nouveau style.
