Description from the seller

Voodoo Worship
Voodoo (or vodou, or vodoun) is a religion originating from the ancient kingdom of Dahomey (West Africa). It is still widely practiced in Benin and Togo, as in the famous market of fetisheurs in Lomé. Voodoo (pronounced vodoun) is the Fon adaptation of a Yoruba word meaning “god.”

Voodoo therefore refers to the set of gods or invisible forces that people try to win over in order to gain their power or benevolence. It is the affirmation of a supernatural world, but also the set of procedures that allow one to enter into relation with it.
