Description from the seller

Ivory Porcelain
Excellent condition
Rosenthal
Small plates: Ø 15.5 cm. Height 2 cm.
Large plate: Length 24 cm. Width 25 cm. Height 4.5 cm.
Italian Post

This splendid set consists of porcelain plates from the famous Rosenthal Moliere line (made in Bavaria, Germany). The Moliere series is renowned among collectors for its distinctive wavy, pierced rims (reticulated workmanship) finished in pure gold, paired with refined floral or botanical decorations.
Bought in 1895, it comprises a larger serving plate with shaped handles and 6 smaller coordinating dessert or appetizer plates.
They are presented in excellent condition, no chips or fraying; note that the underside of the plate is not as glossy as the rims, but they are magnificent.
Please examine the photographs carefully as they are an integral part of the description.

The decor features elegant floral branching in dark green and gold tones, with a small insect or floral detail painted at the center of each plate.
In addition to the Rosenthal mark, there is also a mark representing a red winged crown, an indicator of quality and finish; this identifies that the pieces belonged to a luxury hand-decorated line and were used specifically for commercial lots destined for high-end foreign markets.
Any duties or additional charges will be borne by the buyer,
