The Sony SS A509 is a set of sturdy bookshelf speakers from the 1993/1994 period. They were originally shipped as the fixed speakers with the popular Sony Precise D 509 hi-fi system. Thanks to the bass reflex port at the rear and the classic design, these speakers deliver noticeably deep, full bass and a clear, room-filling sound that is typical of the better Sony systems from the 1990s.

De Sony SS A509 is een set oerdegelijke boekeplankluidsprekers uit de periode 1993/1994. Ze werden oorspronkelijk meegeleverd als de vaste luidsprekers bij het populaire Sony Precise D 509 hifi systeem. Dankzij de basreflexpoort aan de achterzijde en de klassieke leveren deze luidsprekers een opvallend diepe, volle bas en een helder, kamervullend geluid dat typisch is voor de betere Sony systemen uit de jaren 90.
