Pear-shaped vase in hu form Chinese porcelain, known as the “hundred deer” vase (bailu zun), hand-painted with polychrome enamels in the famille rose palette. The two handles are molded as deer heads in relief, with the fur painted in fine ferric red strokes and the horns glazed in brown and black.
