Description for auction:
Elegant Roman discoidal fibula made of bronze, belonging to the tradition of small personal ornaments used during the Roman Empire to fasten cloaks and other garments.
It presents an attractive circular design, led by a small central button in relief, surrounded by a well-defined concentric ring. The outer area incorporates various radially arranged recessed geometric fields, which provide balance and ornamental richness to the composition.
