Kyanite bladed crystal aggregate on a white quartz matrix from Brazil, 13 cm high, 10 cm wide, 7 cm deep, 561 g.
Description from the seller
An impressive cabinet specimen featuring numerous elongated steel-blue Kyanite crystals embedded in and projecting from a contrasting white Quartz matrix.
The Kyanite forms prominent bladed crystals, some reaching approximately 7 cm in length, with characteristic longitudinal striations and attractive blue coloration.
The crystals intersect in several directions, creating a highly three-dimensional composition with visual interest from multiple viewing angles.
The contrast between the blue crystal blades and the pale, partially translucent Quartz makes this a particularly attractive display specimen.
Condition: Good to very good collector condition. Several crystals show natural contact areas, cleavage features and minor chips or incomplete terminations, as visible in the photographs. No obvious restoration is visible.
Provenance: Old Danish Mineral Collection.
The original historical collector label, reading “CYANID. BRASILIEN.”, is preserved and will accompany the specimen.
