Germany. Silber-Münzschale mit Hamburger Wappen – 925er Silber – 94 g – im Etui

Decorative, round coin tray made of 925 sterling silver with a surrounding pearl-like edge and three small rounded feet.

In the center there is a double-sided coin insert bearing the motif of a Hamburg 3-Mark coin. The top side shows the Hamburg coat of arms with two supporters and the inscription “Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg.” On the bottom side are the Imperial Eagle and the value “Drei Mark.” The coin insert also bears a “925” marking.

The tray is stamped at the rim with the marks “V C H” and “925.”

Total weight including the coin insert: 94 g, without case

Calculated fine silver weight: approx. 87 g

Delivery: coin tray in the pictured red case with red lining and light inner padding

Used condition with fine surface scratches as well as some patina, especially on the underside. The case shows storage and use marks.
