Description from the seller
We specialize in providing you with the highest quality items. As you can see in the photos, this nephrite jade sphere is truly exquisite.
It's a highlight in any collection and perfect as an interior object.
With nearly 42kg, it's a massive nephrite sphere and a beautiful collector's item.
Nephrite is a variety of jade. The name "nephrite jade" comes from Spanish and means "kidney stone." The Mayans and Olmecs believed it had a positive effect on the kidneys and detoxification of the body. Indigenous peoples of South America, particularly the Mayans and Olmecs, used nephrite to craft valuable artworks and statues. Nephrite is said to have its most potent effects on the heart chakra.
These nephrite jade gemstones are fashioned into a sphere. Since each stone is unique, there may be variations in color, texture, and size.
Origin: Afghanistan
